The Teacher!
For the past 20 years I have enjoyed teaching piano to all ages and levels, up to intermediate. I have additional experience as an assistant teacher in an annual summer program. Before this, I worked as both a Graphic and Industrial Designer for 15 years. I have a 5-year BFA degree from Carnegie-Mellon University, and studied classical piano for 12 years. I have also studied the flute, hammered dulcimer, and guitar. I have regularly accompanied other musicians, performed in various venues, and have both played and sung in bands and choirs. Currently, I play and sing at my Church and – when we have the opportunity – my husband and I perform together as the band, Buried Treasure.
